Program Planning
Delegates from Leagues around the U.S. will decide at Convention
2008 the official LWVUS Program for 2008-2010.
Program Planning is going on right now. You can join the Program
Planning Listserv (Email Discussion Group) by going to https://member.lwv.org/profile.asp. After
you sign in with your email address and password, scroll to the
bottom of the Profile Update page and check the box next to lwv-programplanning.
League members can use this list to discuss and/or promote national
issues prior to the deadline for turning in LWVUS Program Planning
forms (March 1, 2008).

Note: In order to vote at Convention 2008, a local League must have met its Per Member Payment (PMP) obligation in
full for fiscal year 2007-2008 (July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008), as well as for previous fiscal years.
Leagues that are unable to fulfill their financial obligation and wish to vote at Convention 2008 may file a
hardship claim with the LWVUS Board. The Board will consider requests for hardship designation at its March
28-30, 2008 meeting. |
