Local League Liaisons
A key goal of the LWVIL Member Services Committee is to help forge
closer bonds between LWVIL and local Leagues and facilitate better
inter-League communications.
Local Leagues have been grouped in geographical clusters, each of
which will be headed by a member of the LWVIL Member Services Committee.
For Leagues in the Chicago Metropolitan area that person is Valerie
Krejcie; for Northwestern Illinois plus DuPage and Kane Counties,
Annette Smith; and for Downstate, Jean Sanger.
Within these three regions the local Leagues have been grouped
in clusters of three to six, and a Local League Liaison has been
assigned to each cluster. The liaisons are experienced Leaguers
who have volunteered to contact the Leagues in their cluster three
times a year. They will inquire about the activities of their assigned Leagues
and offer their guidance and assistance, if desired.
