We will gather to toast the hard work of our volunteers and present U.S. Senator Dick Durbin with the inaugural ‘Champion of Democracy’ award, recognizing a distinguished Illinoisan who has served our state by exemplifying democratic values.

Democracy doesn't defend itself. The people who support the 43 Leagues in our state—holding trainings, hosting statewide forums, leading our advocacy efforts in Springfield—need support too. That's what this celebration is about. We look forward to gathering and applauding the volunteers and leaders who make Illinois' democracy stronger every single day!

Your $100 ticket directly supports the advocacy, the organizing, the daily operations that make everything else possible. It keeps our leaders in the field, and keeps Illinois' most trusted nonpartisan voice strong and independent.

Doors open at 9:00 am. Program begins at 10:00 am. Buffet brunch served.

Seating is limited—early registration is encouraged. Tables seat ten; tickets ordered together will be seated together at the event.
