Celebrate democracy at this post-election stand up comedy show featuring three of Chicago’s funniest women. A fun night for everyone no matter who you voted for! This fundraiser benefits the League of Women Voters of Oak Park & River Forest.

Headliner

Patti Vasquez is a Chicago-based stand-up comedian, actress, radio host, and progressive political advocate who successfully bridges the worlds of entertainment and public policy with a distinct, autobiographical comedy style.

Patti blends highly personal, empathetic storytelling with a cheerful edginess, utilizing her half-Mexican, half-Irish heritage, parenthood, and the absurdities of human behavior as comedic anchors. Rather than dwelling on the minutiae of daily life, she uses her humor as an educational tool to unpack heavy social injustices and the realities of raising a child with special needs, intentionally creating tension before resolving it into shared laughter.

This unique approach directly mirrors her political life; beyond media credits like recurring roles on Chicago Fire, headlining internationally, and hosting daily progressive talk radio on WCPT 820 AM.
