Sara Dady

Sara Dady has been practicing family-based immigration including visas for victims of domestic violence and other crimes, asylum as well as deportation defense for over 20 years. She is the principal attorney of Dady Law Group LLC in Rockford, Illinois. Sara is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the National Immigration Project. She writes and presents frequently on immigration matters and is an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

Sara graduated with a BA in Classical Studies and Political Science from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa and earned her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. She volunteers her time with 4-H and League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford, where she serves as the LWV of Greater Rockford Immigration Committee Chair. In 2018, Sara made an unsuccessful but satisfying run for US Congress in the 16th Congressional District.
