Executive Director

Naomi Sheridan, CFRE, has served as Executive Director for the League of Women Voters of Illinois since March 2026.

Naomi is a senior nonprofit development and executive leadership professional with more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations. She specializes in building comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating major gifts, and strengthening corporate, foundation, and government partnerships to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Throughout her career, Naomi has led high-performing teams and partnered closely with boards and executive leadership to expand organizational impact. Most recently, as Senior Director of Development at The Chicago Center for Arts and Technology, she raised more than $2 million annually, secured new funding partnerships, and significantly expanded the organization’s donor base.

Naomi’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to youth, arts, education, and community-centered social impact. She brings a strategic, relationship-driven approach to philanthropy, with expertise spanning major gifts, grants, events, and planned giving.
